New Moon

I slept at 4.00AM and woke up at 6.00AM. 2 hours of sleep only ey. I feel so awake after that also. Went to Level Up Fitness Gym at 7.30AM and worked out. I love the treadmill and the cycling thingamajigs. Went back at 10.00AM and went online until 3.00PM. Went off then to Spring to meet up with Chloe and the others

We were supposed to watch New Moon but there were only 12 seats left and they were obviously the front row seats. Bren and Carmella didn’t want to seat in front so they watched A Christmas Carol 3D instead. So I watched New Moon…

We sat at the front row. Haha. Ah wells… it wasn’t as bad as Star though. MBO are so much more considerate about front row people. Oh, gila Jo went to toilet so many times throughout the movie! So frigging embarrassing ler. Dahla she went out during the exciting parts. Teruk dia ni. The movie was nice. Taylor Lautner is hawt. And he in his wolf form is so cute. Robert Pattinson still looks like a drug addict to me. Oh, the movie lasted for 2 hours.

After the movie, we went for dinner. It was 8.45PM when we left Spring. It took us ages to decide where to eat. First, Jo wanted to bring me to Sharing Planets… but we got lost at Stapok. So we decided to go to the Living Room. After almost 30 minutes of searching for a parking space, we went to the Living Room. After seeing that the menu was so frigging expensive, we left. So embarrassing. Next, we wanted to go to Secret Garden tapi it was closed. So soi I tell you. We finally ended up at Patio at 10.00PM. Yesh. My dinner was at 10.00PM.

By the way, I’m going to watch New Moon again on Saturday with Jo and Kristen. Apparently, Jo didn’t ask Kristen to go watch. Teruk itu Jo. Oh and Kristen is so going to kill us both. Got back home at 11.00PM and went online for awhile. Chatted with Mr. Roy who said that he felt phat. Teruk him. If he’s phat, then I’m whale blabber. Oh, he’s coming down to terrorise the streets of Kuching in December! And I’m waiting for Mr. Roy to chia me shopping. xD

Random Park Adventure

After eons of not meeting up, I finally went out with a very close friend of mine; Lynn Chong Li Ling!! How shocked I was to see when I realised who was calling me at 9.30PM last night. How happy I was when she asked me out. I miss that girl loads! Five minutes later, she arrived with the friend Norman and picked me out for a random night. We went to Friendship Park and the camwhore moment began. Oh yeah, Lynn got shorter!!!! Wait. No. I got taller.

After that, we went for burgers at a roadside stall. Apparently, Lynn has a fetish for roadside burgers too. We went to Waterfront to indulge in our burgers. Oh, do you know that Lynn is paranoid? She’s too paranoid until she takut to go to Waterfront. Like way paranoid. She only brought ten bucks and her IC out of the car. = =” Really. Si beh  funny.

A Christmas Carol 3D

a Christmas-ey Spring

Christmas is coming in a month’s time. Shopping malls are already loaded up with humongous Christmas trees, Rudolph the reindeer, angels, stars and snowflakes. Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Jingle Bells and The First Noel makes the Christmas season even more meaningful. I love Christmas.

So, I went and watched A Christmas Carol at MBO earlier. Well, I did say that I’m never setting foot on Star Cineplex in Kuching anymore right. Watched the 6.30PM movie with Kim in 3D.

Kim looks like some weirdo with bling-ey eyes. Oh and she seriously has NO SKILL in photography. Like seriously. Simple picture also don’t know how to take. *peng* By the way, the movie was not bad. It was of course just like how Charles Dickens wrote it. The 3D effects were nice but G-Force was better. I better start being an Ebenezer Scrooge so that I can get my Blackberry Odin and iPhone 3GS soon.

Went to Westwood after the movie for a late dinner. Had a black pepper chicken chop which was superb. Oh, I saw Ah Jo there too. I tell you, that girl is like stalking me okay. At first, I thought it was only in Miri, mana tau she also stalk me here. Ah Jo, I know I very popular. But you don’t have to stalk me until like that bah. Went back home at 10.00PM and watched Private Practice Season 2. Happy happy happy! Million thanks to Aunt Stella for the movie tickets and dinner.

Slumber Party at Park City Everly Hotel

Well, as you all know, finals are finally over and it’s the holiday season. Had a round of badminton with my friends at the rec hall. Badminton ended at 2.00PM and we went to X-Cuisine for lunch. Food was worth it. After that, went back to Village and packed a couple of stuff for our slumber party. Apparently, Debbie won a free room in Park City Everly Hotel and invited all of us over. Well, who could resist a hotel room with Astro, comfy beds and awesome food right? Well, we went over to the hotel by Brenda’s car and arrived around 5.00PM. Checked into the hotel right away and went to check out our room.

Seriously, the bed was so bloody comfy that I nearly dozed off on the spot. After resting for a couple of minutes, we decided to head off to the beach and watch the sunset. It was awesome. I took several awesome pictures. I’m so proud of myself, like seriously.

I fell in love with the sceneries. It’s just so nice. No wonder I love the beaches so much. Looking at the waves make me calm, looking at the skies give me a sense of relief, the beach is just the place to be. We also took a couple of pictures there. The emo pictures are awesome.

I took tonnes of pictures at the beach which I am obviously not uploading it here. We went back inside the hotel around 6.30PM if I’m not mistaken. Bumped into Alyssa and the others who finally arrived. We went back to the hotel room to rest awhile and catch up with some television shows.

I think we were sick of House and changed the channel to ESPN. Everyone so excited. Apparently the news was on the current football match results if I’m not mistaken. I took us almost an hour to decide where to go for dinner as everyone was clueless on what to eat. We finally settled for the New Tanjung Seafood. I personally think the food was great! After dinner, we went off to Tanjung beach awhile. We played at the playground and took tonnes of pictures.

We had fun in the playground. We dominated the swings and did not let kids play with it. We are evil. What to do? After exam mode. We went back to the hotel room at 12.00AM. And loitered around the hotel lobby for awhile.

We went back up in the room around 12.30AM if I’m not mistaken. After getting sick of the CSI: Vegas and Miami repeats, we decided to watch DVD. We watched American Pie using Debbie’s laptop since it was amazingly there. We too had snacks compliments of Alyssa. Thanks dear!

We decided to call it a night at around 3.00AM. But apparently everyone had already passed their sleep limit. Everyone was so hyperly awake. It lasted for almost an hour. I for one had been partially asleep. I heard every single conversation that took place. So amazing. Conclusion-wise, I don’t think I slept. We got up around 10.00AM and headed down to the beach. And yes, there are tonnes of pictures as well.

Menyesal I didn’t go swimming that time. Nevermind. We checked out of the hotel at 12.00PM. Had a really fantastic stay there. Million thanks to Debbie for letting us stay over and to Brenda and Alyssa for driving us too and fro the hotel. See you all in KL soon! =)

End of Finals & 2012

My finals ended today, 17th November, 2009 at 10.30AM. No one can comprehend how exuberant I was when I finally closed my final paper, Accounting 100, and handed it over to the lecturer. I have been waiting for moment eons ago. Well, I don’t know whether I did well in Accounting but I know He guided me throughout the whole of my finals. For that, I am forever grateful. Million thanks to all those who wished me with lots of luck before my papers via texts, msn and Facebook; Jeremy, Anders, Ah Jo, Jonathan, Mr. Roy and all the others whom I did not mentioned. I am forever grateful.

I went out to Bintang at 11.00AM to celebrate my new found freedom. I finally watched 2012, which I had been dying to catch it since I saw the trailer. And yes, it was another one of those movies where the Earth was coming to an end and humanity was at stake. Remember “The Day After Tomorrow”? This one’s better. You get to see Hawaii; completely covered in molten lava, Paris; completely trashed and New York; drowned by tsunami. And that was just the beginning. I better not be a spoiler. Well, the 2 hour 40 minute movie was simply great. Really. It made me thinking. I realised that seriously, nothing lasts forever, life’s short. And yes, it took me THAT LONG to let it seep into my neurons. I am THAT type of person.

There are many events that took place in just a week and they really changed my perception on many things. I know I’m not always right, but I just like to tell myself that I’m right. Yes, I was and still is a rebel. Life is short and that’s why I don’t give a damn on what I do. I mean since life is short, why bother to even study right? For all I know, I might not even be here tomorrow. Fact is, no one knows when their time will come. We were created by Him so it is up to our Creator to call us back to home to Him. When my time really comes one day, I want to be remembered. I don’t want to be just another speck of dust in the air. I know, everyone wants to be remembered when they’re gone. I want my family to remember me as for who I am. I want my friends to remember me as the person who made a difference in their lives. I want people to remember me as long as they live. I don’t want to be forgotten. Ever.

Sometimes, I think I ponder too much on the little things in life. So many questions are still left unanswered. Well, I’m just posting about that due to something that happened recently and it really shocked everyone here in Curtin. Because of that, I intend to make every single second of my life a pleasant one. I shall no more complain about my current course of life for which I am taking. Everything happens for a reason. I believe that.

Last but not least, I would like to wish my deepest condolences to the family of the late Mathew Jose Kattikkaran. I am certain that everyone here will miss you loads. May you rest in peace, Mathew.

A Spoonful of Good Luck

This is dedicated specially to those sitting for exams; finals, SPM, STPM, etc… . Especially for my fellow Curtin-ians who will be having their first paper later today. Quickly read up the last few sentences before exam later. Don’t be so kintio / kan cheong. It’s going to be just a snap.

As For Today…

I had a very pleasant day today. I slept around 1.30AM and woke up at 6.30AM. Went to church and attended a fruitful service on giving at 8.00AM mass with Brenda and Darrold. Million thanks to Brenda for driving as usual.

Sadly, the internet connection in village was down by the time I got back. I could even barely enter Google. Broadband was too slow for my patience. Decided to run off to Coffee Bean with Anders and freeloaded the AWEOSME internet for almost 6 hours. *angelic hosts singing carols*

I downloaded 22 songs~! And finished another LONG chapter of Business Law 100. One more short chapter to go and I’m done! I feel so accomplished today. Two more days to my first paper and I feel no kintio-ness or kancheong-ness. Wth. Something must be wrong with my system.

I’m still in Coffee Bean though. Lalala~! Don’t feel like studying after this but it’s okay. Relax relax. I’m already in the holiday spirit! Okay. Enough with this short post. Till the next one. Maybe after finals that is. Ciao~!

Last Session

Yesterday’s three hour badminton session was awesome. Played for three hours non-stop. First hour was single session and it went on with doubles till the end. Ran a lot with a lot of arm movement actions with the racquet. My shirt was practically drenched. No kidding. I need more practice. Tension was seriously in the air.

It was a brutal session but an awesome one.

I woke up today with a pain on my arms, legs and back. Awesome. Too bad yesterday was the last badminton session for the semester before finals. Almost everyone came. To release stress I presume after days of last minute studying. I have awesome friends. Badminton session shall resume next semester.
